Advertisement for Librarian at B. H. B. College, Sarupeta : Last Date 07/11/19

In pursuance of the D.H.E., Assam’s letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/265/2016/76 Dated Kahilipara the 31.08.2019, applications are invited in format prescribed by the DHE, Assam with complete bio-data and all testimonials from H.S.L.C. onwards from eligible candidates having good academic records and the latest UGC norms for direct recruitment in the vacant sanctioned post of Librarian at B. H. B. College, Sarupeta in the revised UGC Scale of Pay under Unreserved category. Educational qualification and selection procedures will be as per the Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.407/2017/44 dated 08.11.2018 with the NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility condition. Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. The candidates must have minimum 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) at the Master’s Degree level in the
concerned subject (Library and Information Science). A relaxation of 5% may be provided to SC/ST/PWD and to Ph.D. holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree
prior to 19 September, 1991. The candidates have to acquire qualification as on the last date for submitting application. Eligibility like M.Phil./ Ph.D./Seminar Papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.
Age: 38 years as on 01.01.2019 with relaxation of 5 (five) years for SC/ST/PWD candidates and 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
Application accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs. 2500.00 (Rupees two thousand five hundred only) drawn in favour of Principal, B. H. B. College, Sarupeta payable at Punjab National Bank, Sarupeta Branch, must reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
The candidates must have Permanent Residential Certificates (PRC) and must know local language. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority. Incomplete applications will summarily be rejected. No excuse of postal delay will be accepted.
