Applications in Standard Form (as published in Assam Gazette, Part-IX) along with all supporting documents are invited for the Post Of Librarian from candidates who have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/NET. The qualification of the candidate should be as per guideline issued by the Govt. Vide O.M. Degree in accordance with UGC (minimum Standard and Procedure for Award Of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement Of minimum eligibility Condition of NET/ SLET/SET. Candidates must have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) at Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science with a relaxation Of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently abled categories. The age Of the candidate should not be more that 38 Years on 01.01.2019 with relaxation for MOBC/PWD as per govt. rule in force. Candidate must have a PRC and must know local language. The copy Of PRC should be submitted along with the application form. Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred) only is to be deposited along with the application form by Demand Draft in favour of Principal, B. N. College. Dhubri drawn at SBI, Kismathasdah Branch, Dhubri. Application complete in all respect including Contact NO. & Email ID must reach the Principal, B.N.College, Dhubri, P.O. Bidyapara, Dist. -Dhubri (Assam), Pin -783324 within 12.02.2019 up to 4.00 P.M.
In service, candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC from the concerned authority.
