Theme 1 Academic Libraries: At the cusp of transformation, academic libraries are driven by transformative changes especially driven by technology and change in learning, pedagogy and information seeking behavior. Invited lectures and panel discussions and papers are invited on the following sub themes
a) Learning spaces
b) Research data management services
c) Instruction/literacy and outreach
d) Bibliometry /Impact /Research output
Theme 2 Public Libraries: Public libraries have always known for archiving and dissemination of Information and stood for literacy, knowledge and freedom. Their role in the current scenario is more critical than at any time in the history of public library movement in India and elsewhere. Access to information, knowledge and expertise in the digital domain to socially and economically challenged population with wide geographical reach can be attained only by public library systems anywhere in the world. The topics in this theme are:
a) History, role and current scenario
b) Outreach, support for citizenship, lifelong learning and Skills
c) Access to information, knowledge, educational resources, citizenship, personal research etc.
d) Preservation and cultural heritage
Theme 3 Future in the Digital Domain: Digitization and Digital Content constitute substantial amount of content acquisitions across Libraries. It may have perceptually inflated the access but still distraught with challenges of intellectual property, perpetuity, preservation, privacy copyright and host of other issues. The topics in this theme include:
a) IPR, Copyright and DRM
b) Digital Preservation
c) Privacy and use
Author Guidelines
Original contributions based on application / research / surveys / practices related to the theme and sub-themes mentioned are invited for paper and poster presentations. Based on editorial committee’s recommendations, papers for the international conference will be selected and published in the Conference Volume (print version) with ISBN number. Registrations for all authors are mandatory for paper presentation. All papers should be submitted through email on or before 15 December, 2018 to rama.patnaik@iimb.ac.in.

Camera Ready Paper Submission: 15th December 2018
Conference Date: 26th-28th February 2019
