Submission of Paper
- Authors are advised to send their manuscript as an extended abstract or full papers.
- One author may submit more than one manuscript.
- The manuscript should contain previously unpublished or unreported observations in English.
- Authors should adhere to the guidelines given below to prepare their manuscripts.
- Submission of manuscripts should be sent to the secretary of the symposium via email (libsym@esn.ac.lk).

Acceptance of Paper
All submitted manuscripts will be subject to a double-blind peer review by a panel of experts. Manuscripts will also be subject to an anti-plagiarism check, thus any paper that infringe the intellectual property rights will be rejected. The final decision of the presentation style (Oral/Poster) is made by the editorial committee, and your understanding and corporation are highly appreciated.
The Proceedings will be released on the first day of the Symposium and further procedures will be carried out to make it available on IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Registration
Presenters and Primary Authors (in case if the primary author is not the presenter) are kindly advised to register before the 30th of June, 2018to ensure the publication of their manuscripts.
No paper will be published unless the full registration fee is paid before the deadline.
Once the paper has been accepted and confirmed for publishing, cancellations cannot be made. That means NO refund of registration fee is available regardless the reason.
Duly filled registration form should be emailed to the Secretary, LibSym2018 (libsym@esn.ac.lk). This form will be available on the web soon.

Guideline for Authors
All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not under consideration at another conference/journal/book/or publication in any other form.
Authors must follow the instructions and format outlined below while submitting their manuscript:
- Title: Title of the paper should explicitly indicate the focus of the research work. The title needs to be less than 20 words and in Title case. Names of the authors, affiliation, and email should follow the title. The presenting author’s name should be underlined.
- Abstract: Abstract should be informative and not more than 250 words.
- Keywords: There should be a maximum of 6 keywords, of which at least three significant subject indicative keywords should be provided.
- Extended abstract/full paper: For extended abstracts: length of the extended abstract should be between 750-1000 words (not more than 3 pages of an A4 size paper).
For full papers: Maximum length of the manuscript should be between 2500-3000 words (not more than 7 pages of an A4 size paper). These word counts are for the main content of the manuscript excluding the title, author affiliation, abstract and list of reference.

Style:
The paper should be in MS-Word format with font type – Times New Roman, font size –12 pts, and line space – 1.5.

Medium of Manuscripts:
The manuscripts can be accepted in English.

Referencing Style:
Authors are advised to strictly adhere to APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition style for both in-text citation and reference list.
