Librarian
Essential requirements:
- Masters degree in Library Science / Information Science Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent B grade in the UGC seven-point scale and consistently good academic record
- At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in University library or any other library statutory organization or 18 years experience as a College Librarian
- Consolidated API score of 400 points
- Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work
Desirable requirements:
M. Phil. / Ph.D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript Keeping
Assistant Librarian
Essential requirements:
- Masters degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent B grade in the UGC seven- point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library with five years experience
- Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC
Age: Not more than 45 years
Library Attended
10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board with certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institution
Age: Not more than 35 years
