LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective of this workshop is to introduce MOOCs pedagogy and the open source MOOCs platforms to various stakeholders. Participants will develop their insights into the challenges and potentials of MOOCs. They will acquire the practical understanding of the existing open source MOOCs platforms, which helps them to develop effective MOOCs suited for their audience. Some objectives are:
1. How to Create and teach with MOOCs
2. Novel pedagogical processes with MOOCs
3. Explore different ways of designing online and MOOCs.
4. Identify the steps involved in designing and delivering online and MOOCs.
5. Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of online platforms.

7. Challenges facing MOOCs and how to overcome them
8. Adapting to MOOC pedagogy.

REGISTRATION AND ACCOMMODATION
Registration for persons interested to participate in the workshop will be on a first come first served basis with a maximum limit of 50 participants. There is no registration fee for the workshop. Selected participants will be given free boarding & Lodging in the Guest House. Duly filled in registration forms should be submitted to Dr. Kishor Satpathy at ksatpathy@gmail.com on or before 18 Aug. 2017. Please note that there will be no on-the-spot registration.
