Library Professional Trainees
Essential Qualifications: Masters in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) or equivalent with First Class
Nature of Traineeship: Learn while you work on different functions & services of the library.
Duration: The duration of traineeship will be for one year from the date of joining.
Remuneration: Consolidated stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Number of Trainees to be admitted: THREE
Age Limit: Not exceeding 26 years as on 12th August, 2017 (the date of test & interview).
Relaxation for SC, ST, PD and OBC category candidates (Up to Age Limit-31 years) & OBC (Up to Age Limit-29 years) will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
Reporting Time: 12th August, 2017 (Saturday) at 9.00 am
Date for written test & interview: 12th August, 2017 (Saturday) at 10.00 am
Venue for written test & interview: Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, Palaj, Gandhinagar- 382355.
The selected candidates will work from Monday-Saturday (six days a week) and be ready to work in different shifts and weekends on rotation basis.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the written test & interview.
Selection of candidates will be based on their consistent good academic record & performance in the written test & personal interview.
