National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER) For Schools

National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER) is a comprehensive digital repository of resources that can be used by teachers in the teaching learning process. Conceptualized as a collaborative workspace, NROER provides a platform to teachers to create content which is localized and cater to the needs of her students. The idea is to make variety of resources available to teachers so that they use the one which is most appropriate to her teaching style, he needs of her students and aids the learning of the subject.
The media resources in the repository are organized according to subjects. The subjects are divided into 5 categories; Mathematics, Science, Social Science, languages and Art Education. Click on a particular category for a detailed listing of subjects. Each subject has a listing of concepts. Various resources are collected and created around those concepts. Teachers can access audio, video, learning objects, images, questions banks, activities & presentations etc related to those concepts. They can also upload resources which will be subjected to review by experts. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has launched a National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER). The development of it has been a combined effort of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the Central Institute of Educational Technology, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Metastudio, which is the platform that hosts the Repository”.
